September 2021 Wrap-Up
Another month ticked off. Check! September has been a bit of a strange month. It has definitely been stop start on the weather and I have been forced to resurrect the summer wardrobe a couple of times thanks to impromptu heatwaves before descending back into rainy days. Our house purchase is chugging along nicely but no moving date yet. We have however started packing and as I look around, there are plenty of boxes of books staring back at me.
Announcement of Holiday
Which brings me to my next announcement....After I hit publish on this post I will be on holiday until 19th October so there will not be any reviews on the blog until then.
We are both looking forward to recharging our batteries, having a rest and stepping off the roundabout of life for a couple of weeks. Obviously there will be plenty of holiday reading taking place.
But before I get ahead of myself and start applying the Soltan, I must just finish off September. Let's get to it.
Books Read and Reviewed in September
September has been a crime heavy month this month.

- What Would You Do If You Weren't Afraid by Michal Oshman

Other Posts of Note
I finally published my updated To Be Read Pile!
Most Popular Post
You are all still about the Books of Taylor Jenkins Reid!
5 Star Read
One 5 Star Read this month and it was The Marlow Murder Club. I loved this and am already getting notifications about Marlow Murder Club 2 due to be published in December 2022.
Big Read Challenge
I've not managed to read any of these, this month. So it still stands at 15/100 books re-read. My well read Father-in-law still has not got his copy of Midnight's Children back.
70/100 Books Read and 3 months to go. This might be tight.
To Be Read
By my reckoning, I have 34 books on my To Be Read pile. This is made up of:
- 10 Kindle Books from 2020
- 7 Kindle Books from 2021
- 5 BBC Big Read Books
- 12 Physical Books
Looking Forward To
Hopefully getting a moving date and of course moving to our new home. I'm so excited!!!!
I hope September has been a great month for you. I'll be back here on the 19th!
